The Final Chapter Drops March 6th. Then What? VOTE!
THIS BOOK MAY KILL YOU
You’ve been reading THIS BOOK MAY KILL YOU for weeks. Darryl’s been screaming at you to close the book. The Cat’s been purring in the margins. Evan’s reality has been fragmenting in real time.
March 6th, the final serialized chapter goes live.
After that, I’m publishing the complete novella. All 16 chapters. The full descent.
One problem: I don’t know what format you want.
Vote (Seriously, I Need Data)
How do you want to own/consume/be consumed by TBMKY?
PDF - Clean download. Read anywhere. Email to friends who deserve existential dread.
EPUB - Proper ebook format. Lives on your Kindle/Kobo/device with all your other digital purchases.
Paperback - Actual paper. Actual weight. Actual object you can throw when the Cat shows up in your peripheral vision.
Serial Only - Keep it ephemeral. Let it live only in inboxes and subscriber memory. (I respect this answer, honestly.)
Genuinely need to know. Your vote determines what I build next.

THIS BOOK MAY KILL YOU is meta-horror about a character who realizes he’s trapped in a manuscript. He begs you to stop reading. You don’t stop. Things escalate.
The fourth wall doesn’t just break. It shatters, multiplies, starts asking if you’re real.
Been running for months. Final chapter drops March 6th. Catch up now if you want the full experience.
Fair warning: Darryl will beg you to close the book. The story will try to escape the page. You might end up wondering if you’re a character too.
That’s sort of the point.
What’s Coming After TBMKY
This project proved something: you’ll read weird shit if it’s honest.
Here’s what’s next:
Another serialized meta-horror project (different flavor of dread, different questions)
Short fiction that’s been glitching in my drafts folder, waiting to escape

The Ask
If TBMKY got under your skin, spread it.
Send Chapter 1 to someone. Watch them ignore Darryl’s warnings like you did. Watch them get hooked. Watch them start questioning their own narrative coherence.
We’re building something here. Reader-funded weird fiction that doesn’t compromise. Your vote tells me how to deliver the next piece.
Vote. Read. Spread the contagion.
March 6th: final chapter. After that: we’ll see what format contains us best.
P.S. - The Cat says hello. It’s still watching you read this. 🐈

I have read up to this point and will keep reading. Once done, though, I would love to have something tactile I can put on my shelf. Something that tells visitors … who am I kidding, I don’t get many visitors … something that reminds ME … of the things I like. I’d pay for a hard copy.
I'm conflicted! I love a good old hard copy, but you'll probably reach more readers with the serial via emails!
