Arthur's mother is thriving at Tranquilion. She thinks it's 1955. She thinks her son is in college. The AI optimized him out. His sister signed the forms.
I can relate since my mom got a stroke on Feb 2022. It's minor but she lost speech entirely for a few days. No one understand what she trying to say, she can't write, and like any old person, she's afraid of hospital.
I say I understand her without words. I know her routine, her pattern, even what she thinks about at particular time. She's ok now, but over 70s... so yeah.

I'm actually in this right now. Thank you for writing this. It helps.
I’m with you.
Thanks and thanks for an awesome story!
As a hospice chaplain who writes about death and dying via the Twilight Zone this is awesome!
The Twilight Zone in a hospice setting? That’s the real deal. Thanks for the kind words and for the work you do.
